Planning your website content is one of the first steps in the development and promotion of your site. Your content is what gets people to your site and forces them to come back again and again. Site content includes everything that appears on your site. It may include the site text, your site’s graphics, images, forums, blogs, articles, files, information, data, services, colors and style of your website. It also depends on the type and theme of the site. For example, a shopping site will have product pictures, product reviews and promotions in the site content where as a site about latest happenings will have more text content.
If you are adding text to your site, decide on the topics you wish to include in your site. Start writing about what you know well and can write well about. You can also seek help from internet to brainstorm about your topic. Believe it that you will get many useful topics to write about your topic. Search online about your topic to fetch more ideas. Search about each topic on internet and learn new things. Add these things to your site too. It also depends on the visitors who you think will visit your site because you are creating a site for your visitors. You have to add content keeping your visitors’ needs in your mind.
Last but not the least, if you are running a website, small or large, you are never done with your content. Keep adding new and useful things to your website (text, pictures, videos, etc) and you will see people will keep coming back to your site and also your site will go high in search engine ranking. Format your site content very well because it must look good.
